About the Event

Art in (E)motion is a cultural event centered on arts education, taking place from February 15 to 21, 2025, at the SHOWCASE, multi-purpose exhibition hall of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Organized by Pui Tak Canossian College and supported by the Home Affairs Department of the Southern District, this event aims to demonstrate how art can bring positive energy to the mind, body, and soul through exhibitions and workshops.

The exhibition will showcase works by primary and secondary school students, highlighting the impact of arts education on inspiring creative thinking, fostering emotional expression, and promoting therapeutic benefits. The theme, "Nurturing the Soul", explores the understanding of love and care, while connecting with the community to help the public experience the meaningful role of arts education in everyday life.

In addition, multiple free art therapy workshops will be held during the event, covering activities such as pastel harmony drawing, Zentangle art, sachet making, and light sculpture creation. These workshops will be guided by teachers, professional instructors, and students, allowing participants to find inner peace and strength through art. This exhibition aims to explore the limitless possibilities of arts education, igniting the soul through art and bringing positive influences to all.
